Who is steffensfoto anyway?
I am Hardy, Wedding Photographer based in Walluf, near Wiesbaden.
I provide remembrance since 2012.
I started with photography ages ago.
At 17 I got my first camera - a Canon AE1. Since then, photography has never let go of me. A lot has changed since then, but my enthusiasm has remained. You will see this in the pictures you get from me. I love to personally take care of authentic and aesthetic photographs of the most important things in your life: family, wedding, engagement, couple shoots or just portraits.
I want to make you happy with these pictures because that's what makes me happy. I take pictures for you digitally, but on special request also with my old 6x6 roll film camera, which has a very special charm.
With the support of my professional equipment (Canon DSLR), I can capture moments in unique perspectives and motifs.
To have both sides adequately involved, we shall discuss in advance what your plans and wishes are. Preferably on the phone or in person. I like better to communicate from person to person than in long e-mails.

My Photo Gear
I started when I was 17 years old. At that time a film with 36 pictures cost 5,- DM, and the developing also again. I made paper prints myself at that time. My first camera was a Canon AE-1. In
the beginning I had "only" a 50mm lens, of course, but since I realized early on that I liked to take portraits, I "had" to upgrade, of course. My favorite lens at that time was a 70-200mm from
Tokina.
In the meantime, of course, I shoot digitally. However, I have remained faithful to "my" brand CANON.
Current equipment: my main camera is a Canon 5D Mark III, as backup I always have an EOS-RP with me. Both have a so-called full-format sensor, i.e. the sensor size corresponds to the "old"
negative format of 24x36 mm. This is the most important quality criterion for me - before the number of pixels *) .
My most used lenses are the 24-105mm f4 and the 35mm f1,4.
In my photo bag there is still a telephoto zoom, but I like to be as close as possible to my subject. If I have the time, fixed focal lengths also come into play (24mm f2.8 / 50mm f1.4 / 85mm
f1.8).
Other than that: a handful of flashes, light shapers, tripods, and lots of odds and ends....
Anything else you might wat to know?
I live with my loved one in an old building in Walluf, it is only a 3-minute walk to our wine tasting bar at the Rhine and a 5-minute bike ride to the vineyards.
With that, I have betrayed two of my other passions besides photography ...
